Nutritional Consulting:
Proper nutrition feeds the mind, body, and soul. With this being said, it is only obvious how important nutrition is to balance a well designed training program. With a clean healthy diet and smart training the results will occur more often then not diet does not have to be a dirty word. Your diet is merely the foods you eat on a daily basis. The way we look at it, you can be on a fast food diet or a fat burning, energy pumping diet. Sometimes eating healthy is not as simple as it seems. Each client whether an athlete, senior or general fitness buff requires a different balance of protein, carbohydrates, and fats spaced evenly through out the day to aid that person in achieving his or her personal fitness goals. At Body Physics we typically ask the client to give us a one or two day diet log when they begin. From there we input the client’s information into our Nutrition Maker plus software. By assessing your current diet and we are able to suggest changes so that your goals can be achieved.
The screen is tremendous for recognizing imbalances or any kind of flexibility issue the client may be experiencing. This assessment involves a series of movements that any human should be able to perform without any compensation. If you have difficulty in performing any of these movements it is not necessarily a bad thing. Perfect scores are a rarity and we do retest once a month to see if movement has improved. The functional movement screen is now widely used and very successful in getting clients back to healthy movement. Moving well is a necessity if you want to get the most out of your training experience.
